Mountain Conditions 2/15/2012

NORTHWEST:

-- Roads, Routes, Trails --

-The North Twin Sister is reported to be in good condition right now by our own Equipment Shop Manager, Jeremy. The North Bowl was stable but rather deep, so better for a ski descent than for climbing. The West Ridge appeared to be in good, yet soft, condition from the base.

-Lillooet, British Columbia conditions reported from a BOEALPS water ice seminar the weekend of Feb 10. Even though we were concerned with the warm weather (day temps well above freezing while night temps barely below freezing), we decided to see what we could find. This is my fourth year straight, and although some routes were not in and others were wet, overall conditions were good and we had a great time.
